Start with the tutorial, then explore
Let the opening quests introduce movement, capture and combat before making a long detour. Treat your first session as a chance to learn the controls. If an interaction is unclear, read the active quest objective and check whether it calls for your Pathfinder or an Aniimo ability.
Give each squad slot a purpose
Choose an attacker you enjoy controlling, then look for a complementary Break or Support role. This is a planning approach, not a claim that a particular lineup is optimal. Our team planner helps you see repeated elements and missing roles before you spend upgrade resources.
Check the matchup before investing
Use the element chart to compare your attacker with the enemy. A favourable element is useful, but a matchup table does not include equipment, skill timing or enemy behaviour. Avoid treating a single multiplier as a complete damage forecast.
Learn one Twining ability at a time
Twining lets you take control of an Aniimo directly. Practise a familiar route before using a new form in a difficult encounter. Notice which traversal problems that form solves and keep that purpose in mind when planning an expedition.
Keep a small exploration checklist
Before a long trip, review your active objective, available capture supplies and squad roles. After the trip, note the creatures or routes you want to revisit. Use the checklist below to save your starting priorities on this device.
